Situated on the 2nd floor of sasha's, prime is a newly launched restaurant. A Shanghai institution for the past 10 years, sasha’s has created prime to cater to the more carnivorous of the city’s gourmands.

prime will offer 6 different cuts of beef to compliment a tastefully crafted menu which hails Modern Australian Cuisine as its inspiration. Executive Chef Julian Robertshaw brings to prime the taste and flair of Melbourne, serving double cut veal chops and 450g T-bone steaks balancing out the menu with mud crab and barramundi.

A cocktail bar decorated in warm hues greets you on arrival and prepares you for the intimate setting of prime. Once the master bedroom of the Soong family in the early part of this century, you are quickly made feel at home in prime's elegant surroundings.
